The Scott Pilgrim is an excellent series to start on if you're new to the world of graphic novels. Pure slice of life bliss. Once you read #1, you won't be able to stop.

Another great one if your just starting off in the world of comics. USM is about a Peter Parker who has been thrown back to basics. He's a kid working at the Daily Bugle, going to High School and living with Aunt May. Set in modern times, not the 70s.

A great graphic novel about interstellar cooking. Self contained, no strings attached. Funny and slightly absurd. Suggested listening- anything on the Gorillaz' Demon Days.

A badass take on the origins of Green Arrow. Follow Ollie Queen as he get stranded on a desert island and finally becomes the super hero we all know and love.

An amazing 12-issue series of one-shots about growing up. Written and drawn by the all star creative team of Brian Wood and Ryan Kelly. Truly something everyone should read.

The Yellow Version for Platinum and Pearl. Platinum is the Nth generation of the phenom that is Pokemon. Oferring a new world and extended play from the previous titles, Platinum doesn't bring tons of updates to the table, but a solid version regardless.

The second expansion for the hit MMORPG World of Warcraft. Now you can take your adventures to the frigid wastes of Northrend. Level your character to 80 and check out the new class, the Death Knight. WotLK does little to inhibit one's addiction to WoW.

One of the bet games put out in 2007, Bioshock places you in an underwater utopia gone bad. Faced with certain moral conundrums, use genetic powers and weapons to fight your way through the games fantastical levels.
