Post 4: 7:15 PM

7 o’clock. Going strong. I took a pizza break, eating some slices that I had thrown in my bag. Stepped outside to sit on the benches while enjoying the slices, which may have been out of the fridge for a little too long. None the less, they were enjoyable and have sated me. For now.

Numerous people have come in and out of the cafe. In waves too. It’s been awesome. Most notably, I have to give a shout out to the Werth family, for stopping by and really cheering me on. Mr.Werth is now officially the sponsor of “24 hours @Starbucks 2010,” having been gracious enough to buy me a drink. Your charity does not go unoticed sir. You are a part of this. Do not forget.

Kinda feeling that no sleep right now. That shouldn’t be an issue though, we’re quickly approaching the evening, which is by far the easiest part of this entire excursion. I think by now I’m on my sixth drink. I’ve stepped it up to a grande Americano, doubleshot. That should provide enough kick to keep me going for awhile. One of the members just got off shift. She was the one who seemed the most suspicious. I don’t really know what that means, but I think she knew what was up. One of the baristas remembered my name, and even gave charged me for a tall, WHEN I ORDERED A GRANDE! ZAINY!

Oliver and I have been discussing Magic cards a great deal. He is currently looking up various decklists as we speak. He wishes to build a deck that can generally reduce the amount of planeswalkers. He doesn’t really like using the powerhouse permanents. Why? I don’t really know. Perhaps the financial investment. Perhaps not. Who really knows. Nonetheless, I do nothing but encourage his endeavors. If one looks cool, it is for the benefit of us all.

Expecet another post eventually.

Post 3: 4 PM

So the Crew’s here. I’m on my third drink. Things are kind of cooking a long. This low-profile has been slightly shattered. The more the merrier is what they say though. We’re almost 6 hours in, a fourth of the way there. I’ve definitely been slightly bored at certain points. That being said, so far so goo.d I feel like one of the baristas feels like I’ve been here for way too long, but that doesn’t really matter. I honestly can’t wait until about 2 in the morning. Everything’s gonna get really chill. Too much action right now for me to chug a long on this here internet.

There’s good conversation happening though. None of the characters that were here last time though. Still feeling a little drowsy. Probably will until like 5 tomorrow evening. Been talking League of Legends with Willis. Good talks. Happy to have friends that play games with me nowadays.

On another note, AP scores are in. I did surprisingly well. I don’t know how. Thank you to all those AP teachers. Killing it. I’ve realized that all of these posts have zero substance. Ohh well. I’m a lot sleepier than I should be. I could not sleep last night. That does not bode well for the rest of the night.

I think that baristas have noticed I’ve been here for a very long time. I don’t really know what that means. I mean if I keep buying drinks, can they really kick me out? No. Would they kick me out? Besides being irritated that I haven’t left, what recourse can they actually take? I have pondered this long and hard. What can they actually do?

Signing out.

Post 2: 1 PM

One o’clock. 2 hours in. Trying to maintain a low profile. That’s the key to a successful longtime Starbucks sessions. So just a heads up, if you plan on visiting, no yelling. The more you maintain your under  the radar-ness, the better. The less they notice you, th better. The last thing we need is people getting wise to the situation. They start to get suspicious. What exactly they’ll do, I don’t really know. Just keep your head down and buy drinks, they can’t really get mad.

The whole food thing can be an issue too. I’ve got two sandwiches and some cold pizza in my bag. It’s not so much bringing the food as it is eating it. I’m always conflicted about whether or not it’s okay just whip out a slice of pepperoni and proceed to snack. I think I will lay and wait for an opportune moment and scarf it down. I always end up buying a couple of their sandwiches too. They aren’t half bad, and it also throws them off my trail.

Kevin and Oliver have made a guest appearance, and sit here as I write. The company is always nice. I’ve had to stop with the scripting of Alice Edge. The company and lack of ideas have thrown me off my A game. I’ve gotten about 4 pages down though. Happy about that. My motor functions are starting to slow though, and its only 1. Trouble sleeping last night did not help.

Post One: 11 AM

So I’ve been here for roughly an hour thus far. So far so good. I’ve gotten through all my “Brightest Day” bannered comic books. That’s good. Having ventured to the Pacific Northwest last week, I needed to catch up on some funny books. This little excursion was the perfect venue for that.

I currently sit at the bar of Starbucks, the long table near the front that houses many an outlet, perfect for the laptop user. The only issue, is it’s a little skinny, making it so whoever sits across from you cannot setup shop comfortably. That is a minor inconvenience. I noticed today that the top of my laptop already has a couple of scratches, which I guess is to be expected. They actually rubbed off rather easily though. These blogposts always end up breaking down in to minutia.

Thus far, the people watching has been pretty bad. There were a couple of 20 somethings that were recovering from a nasty 4th of July party to my left. The girl who held the party later walked into the Starbucks, and it was easy to tell that there was some awkwardness between the two groups. When the hostess and boyfriend walked away, there was some definite smack talking that went on with my neighboring group. That’s probably as interesting as it gets so far.

I’m still nursing my grande “Summer Gazebo Blend” which I have to say isn’t as terrible as the normal swill they serve here, but it’s still now Three Africans, so don’t fool yourselves.

Oliver is supposed to be showing up soon. That shouldn’t be that hard, seeing how he lives extremely close. Where is that fucker...

Well free to stop by, it’ll be all fun and games. Swear.

Expect more of the posts. I’m going to get real bored.
